Cement Testing Lab in Bengaluru — NABL Accredited

Comprehensive physical and chemical cement testing per IS 4031 and IS 4032 standards at our NABL accredited lab on Bagalur Main Road, Yelahanka.

Accurate Cement Testing for Bengaluru's Construction Projects

Cement quality directly impacts the structural integrity and durability of every building. V2 Civil Diagnostics tests cement samples for physical properties like compressive strength, setting time, and fineness, as well as full chemical oxide analysis. Our lab operates under ISO/IEC 17025:2017 protocols, and every report meets the requirements of IS 269, IS 4031, and IS 4032. Whether you are a ready-mix plant verifying incoming batches or a contractor checking site-delivered cement, our results give you the confidence to pour.

How Our Cement Testing Process Works

Sample Intake

Deliver a Minimum 15 Kgs sample (Physical and chemical test) to our Yelahanka lab or arrange for collection from your site.

Labeling & Documentation

Each sample is logged, labeled, and stored under controlled conditions prior to testing.

Physical Testing

Consistency, setting time, fineness, soundness, and compressive strength tests at 3, 7, and 28 days conducted on schedule.

Chemical Analysis

Full oxide analysis (SiO2, Al2O3, Fe2O3, CaO, SO3, LOI, IR) using wet chemical analysis methods as per IS: 4032.

Data Verification

Results are cross-checked against IS standards and lab QA protocols before report generation.

NABL Accredited Report

Final test report includes all test data, signed by approved authorized signatory. Accepted by all agencies.

Cement Testing FAQs

Normal consistency is the water content (by weight of cement) needed to produce a standard cement paste. It's determined using a Vicat apparatus and is essential for setting time and soundness tests.

28-day strength is the standard measure of cement quality in India. It determines whether cement meets IS 269 grades (43, 53 - OPC), PPC - IS 1489, PSC - IS 455.

Chemical tests complete in 1–2 days. 3-day, 7-day, and 28-day compressive strength follow fixed curing schedules. Full test report typically ready in 30 days.

Compressive strength (in MPa) indicates cement quality and its ability to develop strength in concrete. Higher values mean better cement, enabling structural design confidence.

Yes. Physical and chemical results are available in 2–7 days. Compressive strength tests require 28 days of curing, so they cannot be rushed without compromising accuracy.

Equipment & Standards Compliance

Our cement testing lab is equipped with Vicat apparatus, compressive strength machines, XRF spectrometers, and sieve analysis equipment — calibrated and maintained per IS 1609-2007 and NABL guidelines. Every piece of equipment undergoes regular calibration checks to ensure measurement uncertainty within ±2%.
